Why don’t people use PHP anymore?

PHP was once a popular choice for web development, but its usage has been steadily declining in recent years. Developers have moved on to other languages as PHP has seen little innovation and has been slow to address bugs and add new features. Additionally, security concerns due to its open source code, as well as performance issues, have caused many to switch away from PHP. There are still some developers loyal to the language, but its popularity has seen a noticeable drop.
