Looks good to me. Is that a semi custom thing rather than a downloadable plugin? Just thinking in terms of a downloadable plugin has probably already been broken.

btw:

why doophp not to provide a captcha engine to prevent the SPAM?
(I think maybe can add the captcha engin into Validator is easy to use?)

This thread is in relation to the forums which runs on phpBB and not a DooPHP app.
