Installation on Synology NAS

Postby rabol » Tue Oct 12, 2010 4:34 pm

Hi

I'm looking for a new framework for the next web project ans since DOOPHP claims to be fast, I decided to give it a try, but...

Download'ed and unpacked to my Synology NAS, but for what ever resaon it seems like DOOPHP do not like that.. e.g I get something like this:
http://doophp.XXXXX.XXXX.XXX/volume1/we ... screen.css", the problem is the 'volume1/web/doophp'

the physical path is 'volume1/web/doophp'

Some facts:

Synology DS110J, Linux DiskStation 2.6.32.12 #1334 Fri Sep 17 18:36:11 CST 2010 armv5tel
Apache/2.2.16 (Unix) PHP/5.3.2

doophp 1.2 downloaded and unpacked to a new virtual host on the Diskstation.

Any suggestions on how to make DOOPHP work correctly ?

Kind regards
Steen

Also given you seem to be trying to access a CSS file in the provided link...I am inclined to suspect this is a configuration issue on your own end rather than with DooPHP.

You might also try a chmod of 777 on the doophp directory to ensure no read/write issues (albeit I would restrict this down a little if it starts working).

Hi

solved by modifying the SUBFOLDER parameter.

Yes you can argue that it is a mistake in my configuration, but I 'just' followed the installation instructions :)

Then I have another 'Mistake': How do I get rid of the index.php in the URL?
(I have renamed the .htaccess.example to .htaccess)

You need to have mod rewrite working (installed + enabled) and it will kick in.

I think some of the demos will have index.php forced into urls but you can test if its working by simply deleting the index.php/ from within the url and see if it still works. Test it on something other than the homepage though.

Yes I just found out that the index.php where 'hard-coded' :)
