Spam

Is it just me or do these spammers have nothing better to do? Does anyone ever actually go clicking on these links and buying stuff from them?

They certinly don't stop trying!!! Not sure if any of these might have been useful:

http://www.thesamet.com/blog/2006/12/21 ... bb-forums/
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=427852

I don't know if they have a bot doing the signup in which case it wont be easy to stop them but if it is a bot some custom "What do x + y" equal would work nicely?

Well there is captcha on registration page, I cant remember if it was there when I was first registered. But that should be enough protection of spam bots.

We really need to do something about spammers, I am just too tired to go all over the forums and delete all posts, I just deleted about 10 spam posts and I banned one spammer.
Dunno if there is some addon for forum that is removing spam or should we add email verification.
